as you'll soon learn I am in love with all things beauty especially lip gloss and lipstick. I think my lips are my best feature show I’m gonna bring these bad boys out. A few weeks ago i decided to check out the new Covergirl Lip Perfection lipstick. I grabbed some from the main line and a few from the Queen line by Queen Latifah.
After a few weeks of giving them a nice run ,I have mixed feelings. They claim to have some special moisturizers but honestly I didn’t notice. They were a bit metallic for my skin tone but nothing a little gloss can’t help. I really enjoyed the colors from the queen line , and no not just because I’m black. The pigment as so much richer and the colors were unique . My favorite was Kiss , which i picked up on a whim. It's natural yet it just a pop of coral color. It's really nice with gloss. it makes your lips look really full and plump.Sweethart was such a let down. I want soo bad for this color to work but it has too much silver for my tone. I'm trying to find a gloss that will cut the silver but i havent rached that mountian yet. sigh : (.
If you're going to give em a try a definitely suggest picking them up at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks instead of fooling around with Walgreens ( I paid like 8 bucks smh)
